You may have noticed that the Affiliates page is now missing it’s affiliates. In a catastrophic loss of information a few days ago, Tamaki accidentally deleted them all. He’s working diligantly to find and repost all the links he’d gathered – but he can’t remember them all. If you were an affiliate for TTMR and find that your link is missing, please make sure to email Tamaki at tamakisuoh@live.com so he can get your banner back up.

Changes in the website aesthetics have begun to take place, in preparation for the Midnight Masquerade, which -should- be launching at the end of this month.

We ran a test-run of the site last friday and ran into some problems with the chat application that was being used at the time. We have moved from Gabbly to something else entirely, and it seems to be working well enough. I’m sure we’ll have a few more test runs before the August preview: at least, I will be sure to suggest we do. Considering the minor problems that keep cropping up- it wouldn’t hurt to get in a few more trial runs.

There hasn’t been a lot of noticeable progress on the page, I know. But Nara and Tamaki (as evidenced by the affiliates fiasco) are working diligantly behind the scenes to get things in working order.

Currently, only the positions of Tamaki, Haruhi and Kyouya have been filled, so we are in need of more than half the Canon Hosts! Here is your opportunity to join something new. Live, Real time hosting as one of the Ouran boys.

We are looking for two seperate people to play the Hitachiin Twins – preferrably in the same Time Zone as one another. Contact between these two characters will be VERY important. There will need to be good synergy between the two players. I believe these two will be the most challenging to cast.

We are still looking for Morinozuka and Haninozuka as well.

Progress has been slow on the TTMR website, but keep your eyes open for changes. I have been speaking with Tamaki about improvements, possibilities and ideas for the website – but this is his project. We’ll see what comes to fruition. Feel free to stop by my office and leave suggestions for things you would like to see on the site.

One of my suggestions was an expansion on the Forum, to allow for ‘role-play’ and communications with our clients during the time between special events. Leave your thoughts and comments for us to peruse. Perhaps one of your ideas will make it onto the website.

Progress is slow but steady. Tamaki and Nara have been working hard to set up the website.  Of course, as with all ambitious projects, diffculties have cropped up along the way. 

It seems Tamaki somehow managed to turn the entire site pink, while Nara (our Webmistress and Coding Genius) was away on vacation.  Leave it to him to make that kind of mistake.  Understandably, Nara seemed slightly perturbed upon her return, but it’s been fixed.

We now face the diffiult task of finding a Timekeeping Widget that actually keeps time accurately. None of the ones currently installed have been able to do that.

New members have begun trickling in slowly, but since the site is still, largely, still in management mode, it’s difficult to get a true sense of what those two have in mind. I admit, even I am cautiously optimistic. I’ve contributed ideas, but this Project is entirely Tamaki’s. It’s kept him busy, which means life has been somewhat less hectic than usual; which is a nice change of pace.

I believe Polls will soon be available, to accurately guage not only our Clients’ availability, but their desires for what they’d like to see in the Host Club. Please, feel free to participate. Without feedback, it is impossible to cater to your every whim. We value your opinions, and your ideas.

Tamaki and I have discussed, in short, running perhaps one or two ‘Dress Rehearsals’ before the Sneak Preview at the end of August; to stress test not only our system, but our Hosts as well.  If you would like to take part in one of these Dress Rehearsals, please send an Email to Kyouya_Ootori@live.com or contact Tamaki through “The Third Music Room” .
